What we assess before selecting a system

The reliability of a flooring system depends on a correct assessment of the space and substrate. Before selecting a system, we therefore assess the key technical conditions, not only the preferred colours.

Condition of the concrete substrate Cracks, damage, flatness, load-bearing capacity, existing coatings and the need for grinding or repair.
Moisture and adhesion Assessment of moisture levels, possible capillary issues and the conditions required for good system adhesion.
Cleaning regime Types of cleaning agents, cleaning frequency, use of disinfectants, wet cleaning and maintenance requirements.
Chemical exposure Disinfectants, cleaning agents, laboratory substances, oils, salts or local spillages, depending on how the space is used.
Safety and slip resistance Assessment of slipping risks, wet areas, transport routes and the movement of staff or patients.
ESD requirements If sensitive electronic or medical equipment is used in the space, we assess whether an ESD system is required.
