Frequently asked questions
This page provides answers to the most frequently asked questions about system selection, substrate preparation, installation, safety, warranties and maintenance. It is designed to help clients understand the process more quickly and prepare effectively for working with us.
System Selection and Installation
We select the system according to the intended use of the space, the types of load it will be exposed to (pedestrian traffic, forklift traffic, chemicals and temperature fluctuations), the condition of the substrate and the desired appearance. Before installation, we carry out a site survey and, where necessary, test the substrate for moisture and strength. Based on the results, we recommend the most suitable system.
We do not manufacture the materials ourselves. We work with selected European manufacturers of professional materials and choose each system according to the technical requirements of the individual project. We use certified materials and provide technical documentation, specialist support and reliable supply.
All work is carried out by our trusted and experienced team of specialists, who are proficient in substrate preparation, application and final floor finishing. This enables us to maintain consistent installation quality from the beginning to the end of every project.
Yes. The contract clearly specifies the system, application thickness and every component to be used. The installation is completed in full accordance with the agreed specification.
This depends on the type and scope of the work. Smaller repairs can often be completed in stages or outside working hours, whereas larger projects may require a brief interruption to operations while the materials cure. We coordinate the schedule around your operational requirements.
Safety, Warranty and Support
Our systems comply with the relevant safety standards. Once fully cured, they are chemically stable and do not emit harmful substances. Slip-resistant finishes are also available to provide additional safety for users.
Yes. We offer systems that meet the hygiene requirements of the food-processing and medical industries. They are non-porous, easy to clean and resistant to disinfectants.
Yes. We provide a warranty for every installed system. Its scope and duration depend on the selected system and the conditions of use. Full details are specified in the contract.
Yes. Once the work is complete, we remain available to provide maintenance advice. If required, we can also carry out regular inspections and maintenance under an annual contract to extend the service life of the floor.
Materials, Applications and Maintenance
Polymer flooring systems are seamless floor finishes based on epoxy or polyurethane resins. They are applied in liquid form and cure to create a durable, smooth and resistant surface.
Epoxy flooring offers exceptional resistance to abrasion, chemicals, oils and mechanical loads while remaining easy to clean, making it ideal for production and warehouse environments.
Damage may occur as a result of impacts from heavy objects, prolonged exposure to aggressive chemicals, excessive moisture in the substrate before installation or inadequate substrate preparation.
Available options include a range of colours, decorative quartz and metallic effects, slip-resistant textures and floor markings. This allows the floor to be tailored to both the functional and aesthetic requirements of the space.
Polyurethane systems are recommended for areas exposed to significant temperature fluctuations or mechanical impact, or where greater floor flexibility is required—for example, cold-storage rooms, food-processing facilities and areas with intensive forklift traffic.
For areas with intensive forklift traffic or heavy mechanical loads, we recommend thicker epoxy or polyurethane systems with a reinforced structure designed for the specific loads within the facility.
Maintenance is straightforward. Regular cleaning with water and mild detergents, avoiding sharp objects and repairing minor damage promptly will help ensure a long service life.
Excessive moisture in the substrate can cause poor adhesion, blistering and delamination of the coating. We therefore always measure the substrate moisture level before installation and apply a suitable vapour barrier where required.
Polyurethane flooring is more flexible and offers greater resistance to UV radiation and temperature fluctuations, making it more suitable for outdoor surfaces or areas exposed to greater mechanical loads.
Yes. An existing floor can often be refurbished without complete removal, reducing both cost and installation time. We determine the scope of the refurbishment after inspecting and assessing the condition of the existing substrate.
At the agreed time, we visit your facility, assess the condition of the substrate, measure moisture levels and discuss your requirements and the loads the space must withstand. We then prepare a recommended solution and quotation.
The price depends on the size of the area, the selected system, the application thickness, the condition of the existing substrate and any additional requirements, such as decorative effects or specific resistance properties.
Our systems are suitable for industrial halls, warehouses, production facilities, garages, food-processing and medical facilities, retail premises, and other commercial and special-purpose spaces with varying load and hygiene requirements.
